About Us Phoenyx Fencing Studio is dedicated to the new and upcoming fencer! We train in all three competitive weapons, foil, epee and sabre. We have a large coaching staff and an on-site armoror.  At Phoenyx Fencing Studio, a family atmosphere helps guide athletes to achieve thier best. Coaching and instruction is fun, exciting, challenging and increases self confidence while teaching the concepts of Olympic sports, discipline and fair play. We are the "new kids on the block" but already have proven our winning attitude at many USFA sanctioned tournaments and competitions. We have trained fencers in a matter of months, to qualify and compete in the USFA Nationals!
Phoenyx Fencing Studio is continually striving to provide the best training for our athletes, along with the best support. The head coaching staff attends the USFA Coaches College every year to learn about the Olympic Training ideals and to stay up-to-date on all information regarding the sport of fencing. Phoenyx also networks with college fencing coaching staff, so that our high school-age fencers can attempt to qualify for any scholarships offered.
| Company history Antek and Janelle Ignatowicz are the proud owners of Phoenyx Fencing Studio, a project that has truly "risen from the ashes" as they were looking for a way of bringing a nationally recognized sport to the Antelope Valley. Antek has taught fencing for several years, both as a hobby, and professionally as a High School Coach and Club Advisor, and now as a studio owner. Janelle is the brains behind the operation, handling all the financial and business aspects for Phoenyx. | Newspaper Articles Antelope Valley Press has written two fantastic articles on the success of Phoenyx fencing studio. Several of our parents have demonstrated their appreciation by taking team photos and action shots of our fencers in action! We have the best booster club in existance, all due to wonderful parental support! |
